Hilton and RMKA Private Company have signed an agreement to introduce the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand to Greece with Sandblu Santorini, a 66-room resort scheduled to open for the 2026 summer season in Kamari, at the foothills of Ancient Thira.
The property will be positioned on the eastern coast of Santorini on elevated terrain overlooking the Aegean Sea and the black sand beach of Kamari. Its design draws from a traditional Cycladic village, featuring stone exteriors and whitewashed facades.
Sandblu Santorini will offer 66 rooms, suites and villas, each with a private terrace offering views of either the pool or the sea. Nearly one-third of the accommodations will include private pools, and three villas will be available for guests seeking additional seclusion. The resort will also provide direct beach access.
Facilities will include two infinity pools, a spa with sauna and indoor pool, a two-storey fitness studio and a yoga garden. Dining options will feature a signature restaurant and an all-day venue designed by Rockwell Group, along with a wine bar, a wine cellar and a bakery. A kids club and retail boutiques are also planned.

The development joins a growing portfolio for LXR, which is approaching nearly 40 properties operating or under development. The Santorini signing follows the brand’s debut of SAX Paris and precedes additional locations planned for Europe.
Sandblu Santorini will offer access to hiking routes leading to Ancient Thira and proximity to Kamari Beach. The site is within a short drive from Santorini International Airport and the port, providing connections to European destinations and the Cycladic islands.
