Turkish Airlines has introduced a limited-time fare campaign offering round-trip economy tickets from the United States to Türkiye starting at $600. The promotion, announced on July 14, 2026, is valid for bookings made between July 13 and July 27, 2026, and covers travel from Sept. 7, 2026, through Feb. 28, 2027.

The discounted fares apply only to round-trip economy tickets departing from the U.S. and arriving in Türkiye. Sample fares include Istanbul-New York (JFK) at ₺28,095 ($600) for travel on Feb. 6-13, 2027, or Oct. 28-Nov. 1, 2026. Other routes at the same price include Chicago (ORD), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Washington, D.C. (IAD), and Atlanta (ATL). Houston (IAH) fares start at ₺30,392 ($650).

The campaign covers only scheduled flights operated by Turkish Airlines, excluding AJet services, codeshare flights, and routes operated by other Star Alliance members. Passengers must stay at their destination for at least one Sunday, with a maximum stay of three months. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Why it matters

This fare campaign is likely aimed at stimulating demand during the post-summer shoulder season and winter months, traditionally weaker periods for transatlantic travel. The pricing, starting at $600 round-trip, is competitive for long-haul flights and could help Turkish Airlines maintain load factors during a period when many carriers reduce capacity. The restriction to Turkish Airlines-operated flights and the minimum Sunday stay suggest the carrier is targeting leisure travellers willing to plan ahead, rather than last-minute business passengers. The campaign also underscores Turkish Airlines' strategy of leveraging its extensive U.S. network to funnel traffic through its Istanbul hub.
